CV Care exists to help vulnerable children and families. We partner with CarePortal, a national organization, who connects us to caseworkers at local government child welfare agencies such as the LA County Department of Child & Family Services.  These agencies work directly with families in need and make sure all requests are valid.  The reasons vary but in every situation there is a child who needs help – a child whose parent recently regained custody after getting sober and needs a bed, someone who cannot afford food or rent or a young adult turning 18 and being required to leave the Foster system and needs help with a college registration fee are just examples. We are called to serve those less fortunate and if your heart is in serving children then this may be for you.
